AICR Congress – Paris 2017

An introduction to Paris

ParisThe City of Lights is forever renewing itself, expanding its offer and constantly improving its services to satisfy the expectations of its guests. A city for culture, a city for love, a city for pleasure and entertainment…everything for you to enjoy a great stay!

Paris is famous for its artistic, historic and cultural heritage but the city is also a trendsetter, innovative and dynamic. The sheer number of inaugurations such as the completion of the “Canopée” (a nature inspired canopy) in the “Halles” district or the Louis Vuitton foundation illustrate this dynamism.

An extensive variety of guided tours or alternative visits will enable you to discover unexpected aspects of the city and an abundance of exceptional places to visit; chateaux and gardens, museums, theme parks, etc.

No trip to Paris is complete without a taste of French cuisine; from gastronomical starred restaurants and traditional brasseries to contemporary restaurants and trendy food trucks, not forgetting the numerous “bistronimique” addresses and the blending culinary influences from all around the globe.

Paris can claim to be the Capital of shopping. The department stores (such as the Galeries Lafayette) are renowned worldwide as are French historic and luxury brands and many young designers.

Magical, eternal, surprising, romantic…adjectives are not lacking to describe beautiful Paris!
